Acupuncture
Acupuncture works by enhancing the body’s functions and promoting natural self-healing processes with the gentle insertion of fine needles into very specific acupuncture points. Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners follows the principle that there are over 2,000 acupuncture points throughout the body. These specific points run along energy pathways, also known as meridians, or Jing Luo. There are a variety of concepts that are fundamental to Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, but fundamental to each theory is the idea of balance and harmony. Disease occurs in the body when your body is no longer in balance.
Our Acupuncturists may use modalities such as: traditional acupuncture, IMS/dry needling, Zhu’s scalp acupuncture, cupping, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, and acupressure (tui na)

Maternity Massage Therapy
During pregnancy, your body undergoes numerous changes. As your uterus expands to accommodate the growing baby, there is increased stress on your back, neck, shoulders, and abdominal muscles. Many expecting mothers often experience discomfort in their low back, legs, hips, swelling, and/or insomnia. Prenatal treatment offers a beneficial means to manage these changes and alleviate discomfort. Massage during pregnancy promotes a feeling of well-being by inducing relaxation.
A body cushion system is available to allow you to lie face-down (prone) and fully supported during the treatment. Lying on your stomach will allow for an effective massage to relieve a sore back.
